A two-level apartment unfolds around a young family with two children, reshaped to flow with the rhythms of daily life. Spaces connect and open: corners invite play, quiet nooks offer retreat, and paths guide the eye from one activity to the next.
On the lower floor, children move freely across a generous play area, its boundaries flexible, ready to shift as they grow. Upstairs, a bedroom hovers above the liveliness below, offering calm and pause. Between the two levels, a staircase threads through the home, part furniture, part passage, part pause—a place to sit, to store, to watch, to gather, linking kitchen and living room.
The new custom kitchen and the staircase, with its pastel-colored balustrade, introduce a playful use of color that animates the spaces, subtly defining zones and adding personality to the interior.
