In a small Berlin apartment, the challenge was to create a comfortable and adaptable space within limited square meters.
A multifunctional furniture system takes shape as a compact “living machine.” Volumes interlock and overlap: the bed is elevated to free space below, storage is hidden within the structure, and shelving is integrated into its surfaces. This hybrid piece organizes the room while leaving the rest of the apartment open and uncluttered.
All essential functions condense into a single custom-made element, showing how intelligent furniture design can make even the smallest spaces feel generous.
