A 1970s warehouse, left empty for over twenty years, now opens up to the daily life of a couple. The home emerges from a desire for fluidity: spaces that connect, paths that guide the eye, and a garden-vegetable patch that becomes a natural extension of the interior, to be experienced day by day. The couple imagined a house capable of telling their story: their first home together, bright and open, where the boundaries between cooking, working, reading, or simply being together dissolve.

The double-height space visually links the two floors and relates the two living areas, creating spatial continuity and a subtle, silent theatricality, while walls and pathways offer pauses and spots for displaying artworks. Openings toward the garden filter light and air, while the balcony and first-floor minibar welcome moments of conviviality—an aperitif at sunset or simple gestures that mark the rhythm of the day.

A restrained palette of materials—stone on the ground floor, in bathrooms, and outdoors, and parquet on the first floor and in the sleeping areas—defines the spaces with coherence and simplicity, creating visual and tactile continuity across the home’s different functions.

The house is bright and open: interior and exterior engage in seamless dialogue, while light, materials, and internal rhythm lend character and depth to the spaces.
